Trilogy of Terror is a yard display that we first visited in 2012. The "trilogy" portion of the haunt doesn't have anything to do with the 70's TV movie starring Karen Black. Rather, it refers to the three tents in front of the property that form the main portion of the haunt. Despite finding no Zuni fetish doll there, Trilogy of Terror still had a lot to see and lot to recommend it.

In front of the tens there is a full cemetery display, complete with tombstones, animated and static props, all surrounded by a black, simulated iron fence. The cemetery is eerily lit, and manages to convey an aura of creepiness very well.

Each of the three tents offers something different. The first one, which leads directly to the front door of the house, and features props and fog effects. Those brave enough might be able to snag some of the free candy on offer, but they have to navigate some scary stuff first!

The second tent features a real coffin, complete with dearly departed inside, as well as a place were one can sign one's name and leave comments, much like at a real funeral home. Although there was no live actor inside when we toured the haunt, we are told that there are live actors on certain nights. We did see a couple of live actors prowling around the outside of the haunt, though.

The final tent features a creepy little girl who looks like Regan from the Exorcist, complete with spinning head, as well as some creepy clowns in a carnival like atmosphere.

Overall, there is quite a bit to see here, and new things apparently get added every year. For the best experience, be sure to go when it gets dark so that you can experience the full lighting and fog effects. Also, going later in the season, or on a weekend when live actors are there will also add to your enjoyment.

The haunt is good for kids, too, especially if it is still light out. They'll love the candy, and it's really not to hard to make your way to it - you just have to be brave (or maybe close your eyes and just grab it)!
